Troops raided a Gaza Strip hideout and killed two Palestinians who tried to flee, and a third Arab was killed Friday when soldiers fired at stone-throwing worshipers after Moslem prayers, the army said.

At least 10 Palestinians were wounded in clashes with Israeli troops in the Gaza Strip, Arab hospital officials said. An army spokesman confirmed four wounded.Prime Minister Yitzhak Shamir plans to launch a peace initiative within two months and will seek Egypt's help in finding Palestinian negotiators who are not tied to the PLO, said Shamir aide Avi Pazner.
