The first exhibition to survey the highly original decorative arts movement that revolutionized German art at the turn-of-the-century will be on view at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art through Feb. 19, 1989.

"Art Nouveau in Munich: Master's of the Jugendstil" will include some 150 works. Furniture, ceramics, glass, textiles, metalwork, jewelry and graphic designs will be included.The musuem says, "The exhibition demonstrates the importance of Munich as one of the world's most advanced centers of decorative arts and design in the years around 1900. At this time, Art Nouveau appeared with an explosion of creativity among artists and craftsmen."
