The Planned Parenthood Association of Utah has opened its eighth clinic in the state, to provide subsidized family planning and reproductive health care services to West Valley residents.

The new clinic also will maintain a pharmacy, which was formerly available only at the organization's Salt Lake clinic, said spokeswoman Pamela LeRoy. Patients will be referred to the Salt Lake office, however, for infertility counseling and vasectomy services."We are confident that the visibility and attractiveness of our West Valley site, coupled with Planned Parenthood's reputation for providing quality medical services, will draw the clients we need to make this clinic a success," said Karrie Galloway, executive director of the Utah association.
