Armed robbers are continuing their holiday rounds this week, with another two holdups reported in Salt Lake City, police said.

A white man in his early 20s entered Husky Oil, 1302 S. Fifth East, shortly before 4 p.m. Wednesday and ordered the clerk to hand over cash from the till, said Lt. Steve Diamond. The man, who wore faded denims, a maroon parka and a blue ski cap, held a long-barreled .22-caliber, western-style revolver on the clerk in the robbery, in which Diamond said the bandit escaped with an undetermined amount of cash.

A second robbery was reported at the Gas 'N' Go, 802 S. Ninth West, Diamond said. A white male in his 30s, about 5 feet 8 inches tall wearing a red beanie cap, held a handgun on the clerk at 7:15 p.m. and escaped with an unknown amount.
