To the editor:

As a Salt Lake County taxpayer, I feel I have been totally cheated by the Salt Palace and the Salt Lake County.I was an exhibitor at "The Total Women's Show" at the Salt Palace on Oct. 21-22, which was canceled after the first day, due to a water pipe that flooded the power room and left all of the participants in total darkness.

This fiasco cost our firm a considerable financial loss and all I can find out from the County Attorney's Office is they are taking this matter under "advisement."

It has been two months since this incident occurred and I feel the Salt Palace and Salt Lake County have an obligation to return booth rentals paid by the exhibitors who have supported the Salt Palace over the years.
