Police reported two armed robberies in Salt Lake City Thursday evening - one at a floral shop and another at a drugstore.

A man with a .38 caliber revolver entered Neff Floral, 495 E. Fourth South, about 5:35 p.m. and robbed the cashier of $250, said Lt. Dave Harkness.Another gunman fled from Osco Drug, 220 S. Seventh East, after taking a cash register tray with $400 and placing it in a shoe box. Harkness said a man approached the camera bar at the store at about 7:15 p.m., held a silver semi-automatic pistol in front of him and ordered a cashier to open the cash register.

Police are looking for a 6-foot-1 white male in his early 30s, 170 pounds with brown straight hair and a scar over his left eye. The man was wearing a blue ski parka.

The suspect in the floral robbery is described as a 6-foot white male who wore a blue ski mask, Levi's, a Levi jacket and a bandana with a black and white design.
