A witness in the assassination of Prime Minister Olof Palme has allegedly identified a new suspect as a man who was at the scene of the crime, the Swedish news agency TT said Thursday. Authorities arrested a 41-year-old Swede Wednesday on suspicion of involvement in the slaying of Palme, who was gunned down outside the Grand movie theater on a snowy Stockholm street in February 1986. The Swedish news agency said, "Wednesday several witnesses, who were at the movie theater Grand (on the night of the murder), and who had noticed the Grand man there were confronted with the 41-year-old" suspect. "One of the witnesses, according to what TT has learned, recognized with great certainty the 41-year-old," the report said.
