The Utah Veterans' Employment and Training Service is looking for the names of Wasatch County residents who served in the Armed Forces during any war, from pioneer days to the Vietnam War.

Dale Madsen, director of the Utah office, said six bronze plaques that were placed on a monument on Memorial Hill, several miles east of Midway, in 1928 and which contained the names of Wasatch County war veterans, were stolen in 1983 and have never been found. Those with information should contact Wasatch County Commissioners, at 654-3211, or write to them at 25 N. Main, Heber City, UT 84032.
