Salt Lake police say a man robbed a grocery store Friday evening, taking approximately $150 in cash.

According to a police report, a man entered Midtown Market, 1465 S. State, about 6:30 p.m., stood by the cash register and yelled something at an employee. The employee was watching TV and did not hear the man, and said, "What can I do for you?"The man hit the keys of a cash register and yelled, "Give me the money." No weapon was seen, but the man kept his right hand inside his pocket indicating that he had something, the report said. The man then reached into the register and grabbed about $150 in cash and ran out the front door.
