A suburban parochial school run by an ultra-conservative minister has become the first school in the country to accept and put to use a controversial coloring book published by the National Rifle Association, published reports said Friday.

The book will be introduced Friday to first, second and third-graders at the Christian Liberty Academy in Arlington Heights. Students in fourth and fifth grade will receive the book next week, The Chicago Tribune reported. The six-page coloring book depicts two children who find a handgun on a table and tells the reader that children should leave the room immediately and tell an adult about the weapon.
