The fourth and final session in the Deseret News Ski School gets under way at 9:30 a.m. Dec. 10 at Alta.

Most of the beginning skiers, who started the clinic with a dry-land session at Sugarhouse Park Nov. 12, will be using the lifts Saturday for on-the-slope training, said Alf Engen, ski school director. However, those who have not yet advanced for the lifts will remain on the lower slopes, Engen said. Those using the buses may board at 8:30 a.m. at the Olympus Hills Shopping Center and Cottonwood Mall. Students should meet their instructors at the Alta Day Lodge for assignment to a class.

This season marks the 41st year the Deseret News has provided low-cost, quality instruction for Utahns between 8 and 80 to enjoy the "Greatest Snow on Earth," Engen said.
