The father of the flat-rate income tax bill a proposal that has passed the House each of the last two years, but failed in the Senate will not return to Capitol Hill in 1989.

Rep. Craig Call, R-Provo, chairman of the Revenue and Taxation Committee, has accepted a position with Flying J Inc. in Boise, and will move there with his family later this year.Call will continue to live in Provo through the end of the school year, at least, and will be available for any special sessions.
