Bonneville Media Communications of Salt Lake City received a bronze medal during the 31st International Film and TV Festival in New York City on behalf of major league baseball for a television campaign encouraging attendance at major league baseball games.

The ads were aired nationally on all NBC broadcasts of major league games and featured Atlanta Braves outfielder Dale Murphy. The 3,800 campaigns from 40 countries were judged on the ability to communicate a message, appeal or information with great authority as well as illustrate outstanding, well-executed creative concepts, a competition spokesman said.Bonneville also won bronze medals for public service campaigns for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. They included "Secretary," a campaign on the importance of service; "Countryman"/

"Serving," two messages airing in South America and several Hispanic stations in the U.S. and "Braces and Glasses," a message focusing on building self-confidence.
