An opposition party in Panama has charged Panamanian leader Manuel Antonio Noriega supported the leader of a failed rebellion in Argentina, who they say was a Noriega military adviser.
Foreign Minister Jorge Ritter on Monday called the accusations "a fairy tale."
The Christian Democratic Party charged that Argentine Col. Mohamed Ali Seineldin left Panama on a Panamanian military plane, flew to Uruguay and took a boat to Buenos Aires to take over the coup.
