Identities of the three people killed Thursday evening when their vehicle collided with a semitrailer truck in Spanish Fork Canyon have been made public.

DEAD:James McCloy, 44, Salem.

John McCloy, 44, James' twin, Sandy.

Spencer McCloy, 8, Sandy, John's son.

The three were dead on arrival at Mountain View Hospital in Payson, said hospital spokeswoman Pam White.

The Utah Highway Patrol said the three victims were passengers in a car driven by Michael McCloy, 34, Murray. The driver and the other two men were brothers.

The UHP said the accident occurred at 8:48 p.m. just above Covered Bridge when the eastbound passenger car, for an unknown reason, collided with a westbound truck driven by Thomas Green, 31, Zwolle, La.

The two drivers were also taken to Mountain View Hospital, where they were treated and spent Thursday night. Both were released Friday.
