Virgina Castleton Bryner, a former member of the Primary General Board of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, died Dec. 3, 1988, at her Salt Lake home. She was 80.
Mrs. Bryner, the wife of Dr. Ulrich R. Bryner, graduated from the University of Utah in 1930 and later studied French in Paris. She did graduate work at Utah State University and Columbia University.Fluent in several foreign languages, she taught in Salt Lake public schools before her call to the Primary Board. She was nominated for Utah Mother of the Year in 1977.
The funeral will be at noon Dec. 7 in the Salt Lake 21st Ward at Second Avenue and K Street. Friends may call at Larkin Mortuary, 260 E. South Temple, Dec. 6, 6-8 p.m., and the day of the funeral one hour before the service.
Burial will be in the Salt Lake City Cemetery. (See obituary on Page B4.)
