The Utah County attorney's office continued its investigation Thursday into the recovery of between $150,000 and $200,000 worth of stolen property earlier this week.

"The case is under further investigation at this point to make sure all the pieces of the case are there" before an arrest is made, special investigator Richard Casto said.He said authorities have a suspect but as of Thursday were not ready to make an arrest.

The stolen merchandise, machines that automatically put chains on tires, belongs to On Spot Inc., an international firm with headquarters in Sweden. Casto said the merchandise was recovered Wednesday during an all-day search sparked by a meeting between an unidentified informant and Frank Wall, another special investigator with the attorney's office.

Casto said the property was recovered at Alamo Business Park & Mini Storage, 986 Industrial Park Road, Orem. A demonstration unit was recovered from a storage area at McNally Steel in Lindon.

McNally officials were unaware the demonstration unit had been concealed on the property, Casto said.
