Thieves Sunday stole the 1880 oil painting "Bouquet de Pivoines" by Impressionist artist Edouard Manet from the Heckscher Art Museum on Long Island, officials said.

Detectives had no clues to who took the 161/2-by-213/4-inch canvas, which disappeared from the museum's exhibition area during regular public viewing between 3:30 p.m. and 4:40 p.m., Suffolk County police said.The oil painting of a flower arrangement in a vase is of "immense value" and expected to be worth millions, he said, but authorities did not specify an amount.
