Two Utah cities, a redevelopment agency and an association of governments have been recognized by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development for sponsoring programs that use innovative and effective approaches to create jobs, build or rehabilitate housing or stimulate new economic growth.

Provo City, the Provo Redevelopment Agency, Orem City and the Bear River Association of Governments were the Utah recipients of the National Recognition Awards.
