Former Nevada-Las Vegas star Gerald Paddio has been traded from the Rockford Lightning to the Rochester Flyers of the Continental Basketball Association, the Flyers announced Friday. In exchange for Paddio, the Lightning received the rights to guard Jim Les, who is playing with the Utah Jazz in the NBA, and a fourth-round pick in the 1989 CBA draft, Flyers spokesman Greg Henn said.

To make room for Paddio, Rochester released former St. Cloud State guard Reggie Perkins, who averaged one point a game in six games this season, Henn said.Les, 5-11, averaged 8.8 points a game in 12 games for the Flyers last season as a rookie out of Bradley. He was picked up by Utah before the start of this season.
