Toyota has donated scholarship funds for students in a two-year automotive training program at Weber State College.

Richard K. DeMoss, an associate professor of automotive engineering technology, said the firm awarded Weber State $5,000 in tuition scholarships, and also 10 tool scholarships at $1,500 apiece.Last year WSC and Toyota established a training partnership in which the college trains automotive technicians for Toyota. In exchange the car company supplies training materials and vehicles for hands-on classroom experience.
