A man caught trespassing on Robert Redford's property Nov. 8 was found guilty Monday and was sentenced to 190 days in jail.

Kevin S. Stratford, 23, of Carlsbad, Calif., said he was trying to give a movie script he had written to the actor/director to read when he was arrested near Redford's Sundance home.Stratford had pleaded not guilty to the charge of criminal trespassing, a Class B misdemeanor.

Justice of the Peace Vergil D. Peterson, Utah County Precinct 1, suspended 180 days of the sentence given to Stratford, provided he stays away from the property unless he is formally invited to visit.
