John McEnroe figures he's earned some time off.

McEnroe, the No. 2 seed and ranked 14th in the world, prepared for his vacation by beating Aaron Krickstein 7-5, 6-2 Sunday to capture the Little Caesar's tennis tournament in Detroit.The victory, his 72nd career singles title, was worth $59,500. Krickstein, the No. 3 seed, settled for $29,750.

"It's very satisfying to win. There is no better feeling than to win a tournament, no matter where it is," McEnroe said. "But I have some nagging little injuries and I'm tired I need to take some time off."
