Davis School District's Parent Education Resource Center is offering three courses during November about stress, child discipline and family communication.
A three-part course called "Families in Action," will begin Nov. 14 in the Monte Vista Center, 100 S. Second East, Farmington. Subsequent classes will follow on Nov. 21 and 28. All of the classes will begin at 7 p.m. and the cost is $10 per family.The program, presented in cooperation with Davis County Community Mental Health, will focus on ways to enhance communication skills and to develop better understanding within the family.
Beverly Dawson, director of the Parent Education Resource Center, will present a course on "Positive Discipline" at the center's satellite on Nov. 15, at Washington Elementary, 340 W. 650 South, Bountiful. Another class about stress management will be offered Nov. 16 in the Monte Vista Center.
Both classes begin at 7 p.m. and cost $3.
