Robert H. Helmick, president of the United States Olympic Committee, and Olympic archery competitor Denise Parker display a U.S. 1988 Olympic commemorative silver dollar. Parker recently received the coin from the U.S. Olympic Committee, commemorating her performance at the summer games in Seoul. At age 14, the South Jordan resident was the youngest member of the 1988 Olympic team. A portion of the proceeds from sales of the U.S. Mint's $1 silver and $5 gold coins goes directly to the U.S. Olympic Committee support of the athletes.
