An express train traveling from Luxembourg to Paris derailed as it entered a small station 70 miles east of the French capital Monday, killing 10 people and injuring at least 10 others, police and railroad officials said.

The number 358 train from Luxembourg derailed at 10:17 a.m. as it was entering the station at Ay, about 5 miles north of Epernay, railroad officials said.Eight of those killed were employees of the railroad or the station, officials said.
