A Layton youth struck by a car Wednesday night while chasing a pumpkin into the street was in critical condition Friday morning in Primary Children's Medical Center.
Jonathan Boccia, 12, 322 W. 1350 North, was struck shortly after 9 p.m., Layton police said. He was rolling pumpkins and chased one of them into the road when he was hit, police said.The accident occurred at 1466 N. Fourth West, police said. The driver of the car, Stacy Anderson, 20, 260 W. 20th North, was not cited, according to police. The boy was taken by air ambulance to the hospital.
