George L. Allgood, a retired general foreman of the mail room for Newspaper Agency Corp., was honored Tuesday at an NAC banquet, which also honored 18 other NAC employees who retired this year.

The Newspaper Agency Corp. is the advertising, production and circulation arm of the Deseret News and the Salt Lake Tribune.Some 300 past and present NAC employees and their spouses were present at the 25th annual NAC Awards Banquet at the Marriott Hotel.

Service award recipients were: Ralph Robertson, 45 years; Robert E. Cutler, Richard A. Grider, Robert G. Hunt, Kenneth L. Pugh, Jean M. Ruff, 40 years; Catherine Pressler, James R. Thompson, Dan M. Warden, 35 years; George L. Allgood, Guenter E. Broome, Earl R. Carlston, Kenneth D. Green, Ernest C. Moll, 30 years; Russell M. Druce, Harvey R. Layton, John H. Moreton, Roy J. Olsen and William H. Spear, 25 years.
