Deseret Certified Development Co., the authorized lender of Small Business Administration 504 loans, has increased its financing limit for expansion of existing businesses from $500,000 to $750,000.

President Scott Davis said the increased SBA loan amount means DCDC can help business owners who have borrowed to their $500,000 limit continue to expand. "It also means financing will be available for larger projects which have a greater economic impact on the state's growth," he said.Davis said his company can lend up to 40 percent of the financing with an SBA guarantee limit of $750,000; a private lender contributes 40 to 50 percent; and the remaining 10 to 20 percent comes from the borrower as a down payment.
