The estate of Ronnie DeSillers and lawyers for Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh have agreed to settle the hospital's bill for $235,069, court-appointed curator Karen Gievers said.

If a Miami judge approves the agreement, payment would immediately follow, Gievers said Friday.Ronnie, 7, died April 29, 1987, while awaiting his fourth liver transplant. Funds totaling $690,000, including $1,000 donated by President Reagan, began pouring in after Ronnie's elementary school classmates reported $4,000 in donations were stolen.

The fund, which a judge ruled was for Ronnie or other sick children, currently contains $260,000, Gievers said. The estate is suing Coral Gables Federal Savings & Loan Association for another $260,000.
