The Second Americas Film Festival, a weeklong presentation of new or previously unreleased feature films from Mexico, Spain, Latin America and South America, begins Saturday, Oct. 15, in Washington, D.C.

The festival will include 11 films and will conclude Oct. 22 with a showing of "Tango Bar," co-produced by Argentina and Puerto Rico.On hand will be Brazilian composer Antonio Carlos Jobim, Argentine producer Fernando Solanas and Brazilian director Tizuka Yamasaki.
