The 5th Symphony Club in Ogden has been ordered closed following the arrest of 24 underaged customers, police say.

Ogden Police Lt. Mike Empey said most of those arrested were 17 to 20 years old, but five were younger, including a 14-year-old girl. The club management was told to contact the city attorney's office, and the club was ordered closed until then.

Empey said several police officers entered the 5th Symphony late Saturday night, kept people from leaving and checked their identification.

"We only do that when we've received a lot of complaints," he said.

It is a crime for someone under 21 to be in a bar, whether they are served alcohol, Empey said.
