Police said Monday the death toll rose to 33 people and 14 others were injured when two coaches on an express train destined for Belgrade jumped the tracks late Sunday in eastern Yugoslovia.

Police official Dragan Arsenijevic said 31 bodies were pulled out from the wreckage overnight in the La-povo railroad station near Kraguje-vac, 60 miles southeast of the Yugoslav capital of Belgrade.One man and a woman died of injuries in hospitals, Arsenijevic said.
