A 7-Eleven clerk relived an experience of one month ago when he was robbed early Monday morning after refusing to sell beer to two men.
Charles V. Foil, 18, was working at the store at 3235 W. 41st South when two men entered about 2:45 a.m. to buy beer. The clerk refused the sale, saying the beer cabinet was locked because it was after hours, according to a West Valley City police report. The two men tried to open the locked cabinet, then returned to the counter. They took $26 from Foil's wallet and left.
On Feb. 22, Foil refused to sell beer after hours to a man who then held a hunting knife to Foil's cheek and said,"I can do anything I want."
