Palestinians closed down several West Bank towns and clashed with soldiers in the Israeli-occupied territories Saturday to protest the deaths of four Arabs killed a day earlier in rioting.

Soldiers using live, plastic and rubber bullets shot and wounded at least 11 Palestinians in the clashes Saturday in the West Bank and Gaza strip, Palestinian sources and hospital officials said. The sources said soldiers also killed a man, but the army said the man died during a family fight.Nablus, the largest city in the occupied West Bank, and surrounding refugee camps remained under a curfew imposed after the fierce clashes Friday in Nablus where soldiers shot and killed four Palestinians and wounded as many as 25 others.
