Blind pianist-organist-singer-composer Mark Seamons will appear in concert Sunday at 7 p.m. in the west chapel of the Rose Park LDS Stake center, 760 N. 12th West.

While in infancy, Seamons had his eyes removed following a diagnosis of cancer of the retina. Despite that handicap he went on to master first the piano and then the organ, going on to perform with George Shearing, Jim Nabors, Robert Peterson and The Association.He has composed more than 100 songs and released two albums of LDS hymn arrangements, "I Stand All Amazed" and "Count Your Many Blessings."

His program Sunday will embrace everything from classical to popular, telling his story through music and focusing on achieving one's goals.
