A $500 reward has been posted for information leading to the arrest of the individuals involved in an armed robbery April 1 of the Twilight Zone convenience store in the BYU Bookstore.

University Police said a man entered the store at 9:30 p.m., showed the cashier an automatic pistol and said, "This is no April Fool's joke; it is a robbery." He left with $590 in bills and coins.The robber was described as a male Caucasian, 5 feet 6 to 5 feet 7 inches tall with dark brown curly hair, 18 to 21 years old and weighing approximately 130 pounds.

He had a white, turtleneck shirt up over his nose and was wearing a red corduroy baseball cap with the word "Mamooth" in white on the front. He wore blue jeans and a denim jacket.

He apparently had an accomplice outside the store who diverted people from entering. The accomplice was described as a white male about 6 feet 2 inches tall with thick reddish brown hair and a dark complexion. He wore a ski pin on his jacket and a Canadian flag pin. He was wearing blue jeans and a red, yellow and blue ski cap.

University Police have asked anyone with information to call Investigator Aaron Rhoades at 378-2222.
