All traffic lanes on I-15 between Lehi and the Point of the Mountain are scheduled to reopen Oct. 26, according to the Utah Department of Transportation.

The southbound traffic lanes were opened to traffic last weekend, and crews will be moving the barriers on the northbound lanes this week so the road can be striped between Oct. 24 and 26.Construction on the highway segment began last spring and was scheduled to be opened in late October. There had been concern that the $3.9 million project would not be finished this fall because of a shipment of bad materials.

UDOT officials said the project is being finished on time because of an accelerated construction schedule.
