A Salt Lake County man was arrested Friday in connection with a shooting incident on I-15, the Utah Highway Patrol said.

A Salt Lake motorist was northbound near 59th South when another man aimed a pistol at him and fired, said Trooper John Keyser. No one was injured."I think the victim made a bad lane change or some slight traffic infraction that the suspect didn't like," said Keyser, who called the incident isolated.

A 23-year-old man was arrested near 21st South and 18th West Friday at 3 p.m., nearly four hours after the incident.

"We've been concerned about is this kind of thing that got started in Los Angeles, where they had to have patrolmen because (the situation) got so out of control," the trooper said.
