Zoo volunteer Joan Kubancek says she's glad to be giving up her babysitting job - babysitting, that is, for a kangaroo suffering from separation anxiety. When 3-month-old kangaroo Maggie missed its mother too much when separated from her in April at the Pittsburgh Zoo, Kubancek took the 8-ounce animal to her home in the Pittsburgh suburb of Mount Lebanon and tried to figure out how to comfort Maggie. Finally, Kubancek fashioned a mini-pouch for the kangaroo and carried it around like an infant until the tiny marsupial became comfortablearound humans.
