The three major candidates for governor will present their views on Utah business during a luncheon meeting of the Salt Lake Chamber of Commerce at noon Oct. 3 in Little America Hotel.

Appearing will be Republican Gov. Norm Bangerter, Democratic challenger Ted Wilson and independent candidate Merrill Cook. The session will be moderated by Wm. James Mortimer, Deseret News publisher and chairman of the chamber's Board of Governors.In announcing the meeting, Fred S. Ball, chamber president, said, "We feel it is important that our members are informed about candidates and issues affecting their livelihood. The person who serves as governor has a major influence on the state's business climate, and our members need to know each candidate's views on these topics."
