A Roosevelt businessman who pleaded guilty to the rape of a 15-year-old juvenile has been ordered to undergo a 90-day psychological evaluation at Utah State Prison.
Eighth Distict Judge Dennis Draney on Tuesday ordered Arlo McKee, 39, to complete the examination before being sentenced on a first-degree felony rape charge.McKee pleaded guilty to the charge last month as part of a plea agreement. In return for the guilty plea, charges of forcible sodomy, forcible sexual abuse and unlawful sexual intercourse were dismissed.
McKee was arrested last April by Roosevelt police in connection with several incidents involving two teenage girls during a party in a Roosevelt home.
Another defendant in the case, Rian Clark, 35, is scheduled for trial Nov. 28 on charges of first-degree felony rape, unlawful sexual intercourse and forcible sexual abuse.
