A Salt Lake man was robbed Sunday in his home at gunpoint and then tied up by two assailants who escaped with an undetermined amount of money and the man's medication, a Salt Lake Police report said.

The man was in his front yard in the Rose Park area when he was approached by two men who forced him inside his home at gunpoint. The robbers took the man's arthritis medicine and emptied his wallet.

The robbers also ransacked the man's home, taking three firearms, before tying the victim up with a leather thong and fleeing in an older model sedan, the report said.
