The death toll in August's Ramstein air show disaster climbed to 59 when three more people died, including a young girl, officials said Friday. The state government spokesman, Juergen Dietzen, said two West German men in their 40s died and "the third was a 5-year-old German girl." More than 20 people remained hospitalized in critical condition. The disaster occurred Aug. 28 at the U.S. Air Force base in Ramstein when three Italian stunt-flying jets collided at a low altitute and one of them hurtled into a crowd of spectators and exploded.
