Paul K. Sybrowsky, president of DYNIX Inc., a Provo-based library automation systems company, has been selected Utah Small Business Person of the Year, a company spokesman said.

The selection was made by the U.S. Small Business Administration's Utah advisory council.DYNIX was founded in 1983 by Sybrowsky and three other Brigham Young University alumni. The company employees about 100 people and has 200 client libraries in the United States, Canada, Australia, New Zealand and Great Britain.

Before forming DYNIX, Sybrowsky was president of CTI Library Systems and had also lived in Great Britain as a general manager for Automated Data Processing.
