The Ballet West Ambassadors raised $48,000 from the second annual Ballet West "Tribute to Business" Tuesday, and already plans are being made for a similar event next year.

Robert J. Eaton, chairman of Ballet West Ambassadors, said there were 1,400 people at the event and the money will go directly to aid the ballet. In addition to a performance of Romeo and Juliet by Ballet West at the Capitol Theatre, there was a reception following the performance hosted by Brumby's and a reception before the ballet at the Red Lion Hotel.R. R. Johnson, chairman of the computer science department at the University of Utah, won a free trip to Spain donated by American Airlines.
