The Utah Valley Regional Family History Center, also known as the genealogy library, will be open Sept. 25 from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. on the fourth floor of the BYU Library.
Services include guided tours, genealogy classes, consultants to help with individual problems, hourly videos on basic genealogical subjects, and specialists for North and South America, Eastern and Western Europe and the British Isles.Morning classes are: new name submission, 9:30 a.m.; PAF software on the IBM computer, preregistration requested, 9:30 a.m.; United States' vital records and substitutes, 10:30 a.m.; and advanced class on PAF software, 11 a.m.
Afternoon courses are: helping Sunday school teachers and ward consultants, 3 p.m.; beginning research, 4 p.m.; and PAF software, 4 p.m.

The family history center will teach weekly classes on beginning research. Sessions begin Oct. 4 and continue for eight weeks. Enrollment is limited, so registration is necessary.
