A North Salt Lake man pleaded not guilty Tuesday in 2nd District Court to automobile homicide charges in the July 5 death of a Provo man killed in a head-on accident on I-15.

Howard D. Young, 59, 150 Pellin-ore Dr., is scheduled for trial Oct. 26 on the third-degree felony, which carries a prison term of zero to five years and a fine of up to $5,000.Young was charged in the death of Michael J. Noble, 56, Provo, who died after his motorcycle collided head-on with Young's car early in the morning of July 5. Police said Young's car was headed south in the northbound lanes when the accident occurred.

Young exceeded the .08 blood alcohol level at the time of the accident, according to court records.
