Utah Crime Solvers is assisting police in finding the man who attacked a young woman last May after telling her that a wheel was coming off her car.
The morning of May 1, the woman was on her way to work when a man who called himself "Scott" approached her and said her rear wheel was coming off and that she should follow him to a nearby tennis club, where he would fix the problem.Eventually, she became suspicious. When she tried to leave, the man assaulted and raped her.
The assailant is described as about 28 years old, about 6 feet tall, bowlegged, with dark brown hair. He was driving an early 1980s four-door Volkswagen Jetta.
Anyone with information about the assailant is invited to call Crime Solvers, 964-CALL or 1 (800) 972-2255. Crime Solvers is offering a reward of up to $1,000 for information leading to the arrest and indictment of the suspect.
