The chairman of the Hungarian Olympic Committee said Friday that other socialist nations should examine Hungary's decision to establish a diplomatic mission in South Korea.

"In my view, you (socialist nations) should take notice of the realities in the world, and the Republic of South Korea is a reality," said Garbor Deak, when asked if other East Bloc nations should follow Hungary's lead.Hungary and South Korea Wednesday said they would establish diplomatic missions in each other's capitals. The relationship will be Seoul's first formal ties with a socialist nation.
